The Curriculum
What is the Leadership Academy?
The Leadership Academy is an intensive, experiential program where young people develop practical leadership skills and apply them to real-world challenges. Over two days, participants build the mindset, tools, and confidence to design and lead projects that strengthen their communities.
Day 1
Build the Foundation
Participants explore leadership through hands-on activities, learning to lead themselves, work effectively with others, and take action in their communities.
Day 2
From Ideas to Action
Participants identify community challenges, develop project ideas, and plan how to turn those ideas into action.
Beyond
Lead Impact
Participants execute their ideas, track results, and take ownership of real impact.
The Journey
From recruitment to transformation
Every GLL youth leader moves through a structured journey designed to build capability at every stage. By the end of the Academy, each participant has a Sustainable Impact Project plan ready to implement.
