The Curriculum

The Anatomy of Impact

We equip young people with world-class leadership tools so they can launch community projects that drive systemic progress toward the UN Sustainable Development Goals.

Step 1: Identify

Self as Leader

Participants explore their own identity, values, and leadership style. Building self-awareness is the first step to leading others.

Step 2: Empower

Systems Thinking

Understanding the root causes of community challenges — not just the symptoms. Youth learn to map systems and identify leverage points.

Step 3: Action

Empathy & Community

Deep listening and community needs-assessment. Youth identify the real problems their neighbors face and co-design solutions.

Step 4: Change

Changemaking Tools

Practical project management, stakeholder engagement, and communication skills to turn ideas into action.

Menuka Rajbanshi

The program showed me the power of community engagement and helped me grow into a leader. Today, I continue that journey by mentoring others to create impact in their own communities.

Dora Bishkovska

Junior Mentor & former volunteer

Everyone has their own mountain to climb. As a mountaineer, I’ve learned that reaching the summit takes resilience, and through the Leadership Academy and Training of Trainers, I see young people developing that same strength to achieve their goals.

Prakash Raj Pandey

Mountaineer (Everest summiteer) Scout Leader & Educator

Our partnership has created meaningful opportunities for young people to lead, innovate, and drive real change. Together, we are shaping a generation committed to building a more sustainable future.

Mahendra Kumar Giri

Chief Executive, Sahara Nepal (partner organization)

The days here used to feel long and quiet, but with the young volunteers, they became warmer and full of life again. Creating items that were later sold made me feel proud - like I still have something meaningful to give.
